How do I compost HoldOn zipseal bags?Updated 2 months ago

Our zipseal bags are carefully crafted to be home compostable. Once you're finished using your bag, remove any inorganic elements. To compost more efficiently, trim off the zip-seal top (which is a thicker version of the materials that the rest of the bags are made of), then throw both sections into the compost. Your bags will begin to break down in a matter of weeks and become integrated with your rich, fertile compost matter.

If you do not have a home (or backyard) composting environment, our HoldOn zipseals are also BPI certified industrial which means that they are compostable at commercial facilities that accept compostable bags (*please check with your local area for commercial facilities near you).
