Do I need to compost HoldOn bags?Updated 2 months ago
You can, but we recognize that is not possible for everyone. HoldOn bags are designed to reduce traditional plastic waste, no matter how you take out your trash. If you want to compost your HoldOn bags, you can compost them commercially using a compost service (check for composting facilities and services near you), or compost at home (for home compostable certified bags). HoldOn bags will begin to break down in a matter of weeks, and are tested and certified to break down within 6 months in a composting environment.
